Xscape Offers New Attraction in Tourist Town of Bryson City, NC
Creative Works recently worked with Jeffry and Paula Fuller to install two escape room themes for Xscape, their new entertainment center in Bryson City, North Carolina.
Located at the base of the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina, Jeffry and Paula Fuller wanted to add something fun to the touristy town of Bryson City, where they own a strip of small businesses.
“Adding an escape room business to a small town in the Smoky Mountains helps attract even more families or friends who want to escape the city life and relax,” Creative Works VP of Sales, Russ Van Natta said. “It gives families more options for entertainment after they’ve already gone hiking or checked out the local restaurants and railroad museum. The immersive, story-driven, and social aspects of escape rooms make them a great fit for all age groups.”
Jeffry is a handyman with a do-it-yourself (DIY) mentality who built out the space for the rooms himself. Jeffry and Paula hired Creative Works to bring the escape rooms to life because of the quality materials, realistic looking props, and high technological components that are involved.
Xscape offers the Pharaoh’s Revenge and Mayday themes, with room for at least one more theme.
Pharaoh’s Revenge transports players to the hot sands of an Egyptian desert where they dig for lost ancient artifacts to break the pharaoh’s curse.
In Mayday, crew members set off on an adventure in a submarine when suddenly, chaos erupts, and the crew must repair the submarine before it’s too late.
The Creative Works team loves helping small business owners achieve their goals.
“It was a pleasure working with Jeffrey and Paula,” said Van Natta. “We’re happy knowing that we helped deliver amazing entertainment options to a place where thousands of tourists visit every year. We look forward to seeing Jeffrey and Paula grow their new business.”
