Creative Works install Launch’s first laser tag arena
December 19, 2017 – Mooresville, IN – Launch Trampoline Park, a franchise started by former NFL corner back Ty Law, collaborated with us to install a new, immersive laser tag experience. Launch’s Watertown, Massachusetts facility became the company’s first location to install laser tag since the nationwide chain started in 2013. The decision to add laser tag stems from the company’s rapid growth and the need for diversification within the market.
“Launch ended up deciding to install because they are going into a lot of existing markets that may already have laser tag,” said Creative Works vice president of sale Russ Van Natta. “They wanted its franchisees to have options to choose a theme to help set them apart from other competitors. This is so they could make sure they have something unique to bring to the table.”
The 3,500-square-foot, single-level arena immerses players deep into the forest filled with stone Mayan relics. Players weave through a maze of stone barriers topped with color shrubbery and lined with highly detailed stone faces. Additionally, hand painted murals of waterfalls; exotic animals and trees cover the walls, full submerging players into the nightlife of the jungle. Moreover, hazers, along with special effect lighting and sounds, add the final touch in transporting players to new, unexplored territories.
With one installation now in place, Launch patrons around the country could possibly see laser tag in a location near them.
“We’re currently in the process of working through another handful of projects with Launch as various franchisees work through different permitting and building steps,” Van Natta stated. “We have a nice blend of existing facilities that we’re building into, as well as new builds that are factoring in laser tag from the beginning.”
Additional to laser tag, other Launch locations have begun installing some of our other attractions, including the popular laser maze, Lazer Frenzy.
The Watertown-based Launch Trampoline Park opened its doors on January 17, 2015.
