Growing Business With 814 Lanes and Games

Two years ago, Bobby Hogue and his brother were running an inflatable attractions rental company – now they’re expanding into a second location-based entertainment venue after their first was a wild success. We had the opportunity to sit down with Bobby and pick his brain on getting started in the attractions business, building event packages, being an active member of the industry, and the exciting challenges of growing into a new space.

Bobby’s advice for operators looking to get into the industry or expand their own business:

“One of the big things is knowing the industry; going to IAAPA, or Amusement 360, or Amusement Expo, Bowl Expo. We try to make sure that we’re in our industry and we know what’s going on. Having the ability to bring in the latest, greatest thing and to know what’s happening now. Then creating those partnerships with you guys [Creative Works], or other vendors and, you know, just picking their brains, visiting places, going a lot of different places, seeing what people have and what’s working and what’s not working. I think those are a good starting point.”
