Lucky Strike Feasterville Completes Laser Tag Arena Renovation
Lucky Strike Feasterville, a premier family entertainment center in Pennsylvania, partnered with Creative Works for a laser tag arena renovation; the third since its original 2015 debut. This transformation is packed with interactive features, stunning visuals, and gameplay upgrades designed to keep players engaged and coming back for more.
Here are the key updates:
- Full Mural Refresh: From the check-in area to the vesting room to the arena itself, every surface now tells a visually cohesive story, immersing guests in an urban-meets-cosmic battlefield.
- LED Wall Clusters: Standard maze walls were upgraded to glowing, LED-powered clusters. Not only do they look fantastic, but they also enhance interactive gameplay with modes like Territories and King of the Hill.
- Interactive Target Reveal Prop: This showstopper stands about 8 feet tall and 8 feet wide, giving players a two-part challenge. Tag all the initial targets and hidden doors swing open to reveal a bonus target with dramatic lighting and sound effects. This kind of layered interaction keeps players hooked.
- Alien Creature Head Prop: A striking centerpiece that enhances the sci-fi theme and gives players that “wow” moment in the arena.
As Russ Van Natta, Director of Sales at Creative Works, put it:
“Lucky Strike’s team has been really focused on enhancing their existing locations and providing new surprises for guests across all of their brands. Being able to add more interactivity, and doing it cost-effectively, was really rewarding.”
Why This Matters for FEC Owners and Operators
This laser tag arena renovation isn’t just eye candy — it’s a smart business move. Here’s why:
- Increased Replay Value: Interactive elements like the Target Reveal Prop aren’t just for show. They give guests a reason to play multiple times, increasing dwell time and per-cap spending.
- Set a Competitive Standard: By refreshing their laser tag experience, Lucky Strike Feasterville keeps their entertainment offerings current, helping them stand out in a competitive market.
- Cost-Effective Upgrades: The project proves you don’t always need a full arena overhaul. Strategic additions like lighting, murals, and signature props can significantly elevate the experience without breaking the bank.
- Marketing Buzz: A refreshed, highly visual attraction is a great reason to re-engage your audience through marketing campaigns, social media content, and local PR.
For FEC owners and operators, these insights reinforce the value of periodically reinvesting in your attractions to maintain excitement and drive repeat business.
