This week, at the IAAPA Expo show in Orlando, our Lucky Putt attraction won the IAAPA Brass Ring Best New Product Award (Patron Participation Ride/Attraction category).

The Best New Product category of awards is determined annually at the show, and recognizes the best new product or service in the amusement parks and attractions industry.

Lucky Putt is the gamified, tech-driven, and social mini golf attraction that we’ve been working hard to develop over the last few years. It reimagines classic mini golf for interactive, challenge-based play. The blend of the nostalgic joy of mini golf and proprietary technology deliver an unforgettable social experience for people of all ages.

After being announced as a finalist for the award last week, we were officially notified of the award and given the plaque on Tuesday, the first day of the IAAPA Expo show.

One of the facilities where we’ve already installed Lucky Putt is Sun Valley Lanes, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sun Valley Lanes was already an established traditional bowling center, but was looking to reach new customers and increase revenue by bringing in new, fun attractions.

John Losito, owner of Sun Valley Lanes, shared his thoughts on Lucky Putt: “People are enjoying the “gamified” version of mini-golf. It’s different, fun, and anyone can play…and this helps solidify our reputation in the community of always being on the cutting edge.”
